
Dr. Clay Waters was born in Morganton, North Carolina. Though he lived for short periods of time in Tennessee and South Carolina, he grew up in Forest City, North Carolina. Clay became a Christian after his first year in college. Shortly after receiving Christ, he answered God’s call to the ministry. Clay has a B.A. from Gardner-Webb University, a Master’s of Divinity with Biblical Languages, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Clay is married to Caryn, and they have two sons, Graham and Lawson. He enjoys playing with his boys, baseball, reading, hunting and fishing.
